2008-09 Lunch Program
WELCOME FOOD SERVICE CONSULTANTS, INC.
All families were mailed August/September menus and order forms on August 1, 2008.
Children will need a bag lunch from August 18-22. Milk, juice, and bottled water will be available on those days. Prices are $.15 for milk and $.25 for juice/bottled water.
Lunch service will begin on Monday, August 25, and will be provided by Food Service Consultants, Inc. The two tiers of pricing for this school year are - (Grades K-4 = $2.75, Grades 5-8 = $3.25). Three menu choices will be offered each day: a hot lunch option, a grab n’ go sandwich option, and an enhanced salad of the week option. An extra entrée option with the hot lunch will be available for students at all grade levels for an additional $1.25. (Hot Lunch, Grab/Go, or Enhanced Salad) .
The cost per meal also includes a choice of milk only. Any student who does not want milk may purchase juice or bottled water for an additional $.25 as they go through the line.
Parents may fill out a monthly Lunch Menu Form for their children, and return the form to his/her homeroom teacher. Lunches need to be ordered and purchased on a monthly basis with full payment made by check, payable to SGM.
Reimbursements for pre-purchased lunches only occur when school is closed due to inclement weather or when a class field trip is scheduled after having placed the order.
